Dear Friends & Family,
Praise God that He goes before us and does not leave our side. Cornerstone is a organization that I have been praying about serving with. Cornerstone runs a children center/orphanage, hospital and bilingual k-6th grade school in Honduras. They serve to spread the gospel at all of these locations. God has been opening doors of opportunity for me. Starting at the end of July, I am going to serve at El Camino Bilingual school on the northern coast of Honduras. I originally only planned on serving for 3 months, but Cornerstone has asked me to commit to 9.5 months with a position as a teachers aid. There is also a high possibility of me using my water safety certification and teaching swim lessons as well.
I am praying that God uses me as a Christ like male mentor in the life of the boys there, as I will be the only male serving at the school.
God is giving me numerous opportunity and continues to better prepare me for Honduras. I am currently spending my summer serving at the Word of Life Florida Youth Camp. I am serving as a counselor and for seven weeks I will see seven different groups of campers. I am finishing up my third week of camp and have seen God work and transform lives.
Please be praying with me as I am serving at Word of Life Florida Youth Camp, and for the campers that I will be counseling. Also be praying with me as I work to learn Spanish to better equip myself for Honduras. Please be praying for all the details to get worked out smoothly because my schedule is very busy. Finally, be praying that God will provide the finances for travel & room and board.
God continues to answer my prayer of “Use me”. He is providing opportunity after opportunity to serve him and pour into the lives of others. All Glory to God!
